Production Planner
£25-£30K + Benefits

This leading food business supplies a wide range of foods for the retail and foodservice sectors. They are looking for a commercially aware professional to assume responsibility for the planning of resources to deliver agreed productivity and customer service targets.
Responsibilities include:

* Generating plans which meet customer and inventory requirements at optimum cost and with minimal waste
* Providing short to medium term production plans for the site
* Translating the forecast and customer demand into the planning process for the site
* Working with the scheduling teams to identify any issues which will affect the short and medium term supply and inventory plans

To ensure success you will have previous experience of planning within a food environment. Confident, proactive and an excellent communicator, you will be able to liaise effectively with internal and external customers. Strong IT skills are essential and experience with working with MRP systems.
